SMS TERMS

These SMS Terms govern the EmissionsGo Appointment Updates text message program operated by Emissions Go, LLC (“Emissions Go”, “we”, “us”). By opting in, you agree to these terms, our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

EmissionsGo Appointment Updates sends automated, appointment-related text messages to customers who book a mobile emissions test with us: a booking confirmation, appointment reminders, a notice when your technician is on the way, and your test results. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. Program messages are sent from our SMS program number, (888) 670-7664.

2. How You Opt In

Consent is collected during online booking through an optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. You opt in by checking that box and providing your mobile number. The checkbox reads: “I agree to receive appointment reminders and updates by text message from EmissionsGo at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.” Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You can book without opting in and you will still receive your confirmation by email.

3. Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies by appointment, typically two to five messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Opting out does not cancel your appointment or affect the email confirmations you receive.

6. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
